At To Søstre you can enjoy the city's best Afternoon Tea in elegant surroundings. Named after the working title given to Oslo Lysverker by the original architects, Bjercke and Eliassen, To Søstre’s abundance of greenery and natural light sets the stage for a break from everyday life in great company. The textiles are inspired by Asbjørnsen & Moe’s fairy tale East of the Sun and West of the Moon, with matching tea sets designed by William Edwards and GRECODECO.
Our British Executive Head Chef, Jonathan Howell has brought the best of traditional English Afternoon Tea and added a Sommerro twist. The menu - by our award winning pastry chefs Jared Jiann Lih Chuah and Aziz Muhammad changes according to the season and includes finger sandwiches first, then scones and at last sweets, alongside bubbles or carefully selected teas. Try our tipsy tea from the passing champagne trolley, or enjoy one of our many masterfully concocted non-alcoholic drinks.
Our self-playing Steinway Grand Piano, one of the few in Norway, provides a soundtrack of loved and known tunes compiled by our in-house music curator and jazz pianist, Maren Selvaag.
