Amanda Frøynes is one of Norway’s leading middle-distance runners. In August 2026, she set a Norwegian record in the 1000 metres with a time of 2:37.19, and became Norwegian champion in the 800 metres that same summer, with a time of 1:59.09.

Now she’s inviting you to join one of her regular training sessions — a workout she uses herself in her pursuit of getting better.

Join Amanda for the run and get an insight into how a Norwegian record holder trains. After the session, we’ll head back to Sommerro, where we’ll treat you to coffee, and Amanda will be happy to answer any questions you may have about running and training.
