After five years of careful restoration, Vestkantbadet is finally open for new and old guests. The historic bath is expanded with well-equipped treatment rooms for health and beauty. You will find a wide selection of massages, skin and body treatments, cosmetic treatments and express treatments.

We have an infrared sauna, cold plunge pool and a state-of-the-art gym with skilled personal trainers and extraordinary facilities. In our wellness boutique you will find Vestkantbadet’s own products developed by Jan Thomas, as well as a wide selection of well-known brands.

Vestkantbadet forms an essential part of Sommerro’s 8-hour-rule; a daily balance including 8 hours of sleep, 8 hours of work and 8 hours of recreation. This is where the recreation happens. You brace yourself for the tasks of the coming week in our gym, and our wellness department helps you unwind and take care of your body and soul. Always in harmony.

NB. The pool, cold plunge pool and saunas are closed for maintenance on 17. og 18. April. The rooftop pool and treatments will still be open.

treatments

The bathtubs at Vestkantbadet were previously used by residents in Oslo who didn’t have a bathtub at home. Excess energy from the original Lysverker was used to heat up water for the tubs. The rooms are now converted into express treatment rooms for shorter facial and beauty treatments.

Medical treatments

We have a unique partnership with Laserlegene who offer well documented and effective medical cosmetic treatments with an international standard at Vestkantbadet. Our goal is naturally beautiful results. We use the newest technology in laser treatment, as well as cosmetic injections, skin analysis and skin health programs.

Our 400 square meter gym is open for members of Vestkantbadet and hotel guests. The gym has extraordinary facilities, and our skilled personal trainers are ready to motivate you to achieve new goals.

Wellness-

You will find our Wellness Boutique at the Vestkantbadet reception. The boutique is full of skin and body care from well-known suppliers. We also sell the extra thick Sommerro bathrobes designed by Abate, slippers from Astrid Andreassen and several other products for anyone who wants to take the Sommerro feeling home.
