Everyone is welcome to swim in Vestkantbadet — including those who are not hotel guests. The entire historic bathhouse, with its Art Deco interior, has been carefully restored to its original condition. “Swimming Women and Seals” is the name of the iconic mosaic by Per Krohg, which is protected and has been meticulously restored, tile by tile. The motif also serves as the inspiration behind Sommerro’s logo and overall visual identity.
The pool measures 12.5 x 10 metres, and there are separate saunas and shower areas for men and women. The changing cabins have been hand-sanded on site and now shine again as they did at the opening ninety years ago.
